About Our CompanyDigital Brothers has been producing, editing, and mastering digital audio projects since 1983. We started with a Sony F-1 Digital Processor (serial number 75!), doing purist audiophile recording. We were among the first to do digital editing from the Sony F-1 format. In 1988 we were selected as one of the first beta test sites of the now famous Sonic Solutions digital audio work station. We have two digital mastering suites, both equipped with Sonic Solutions systems, and we've mastered over 2500 Compact Disc titles. Our mission is to provide our customers with "user-friendly" service and support for mastering and manufacturing of compact discs and cassettes. We are happy to handle as much (or as little) of your project as you need - editing, equalization, mastering, artwork, replication, and packaging. Mastering: You can make an appointment if you would like to be present for decisions during the mastering process. If your source tape already has the sound you want or you can give us all instructions beforehand, you can save money with a "drop-off" (or mail-in) order. DAT to CD-R Conversion: If your recording has been mastered to DAT tape, we can convert it to a CD-R for use as a replication master. The procedure is fully monitored by one of our engineers to ensure that the disc is ready to be used as a replication source. We offer this service at a lower rate than our other CD mastering services. CD-Audio & CD-ROM: We offer pressed CDs in quantities of 1000 or more, with complete printing and packaging services. We also offer short-run CD-R duplication in quantities as low as 12.
